Frequently asked questions.

Do I need to know how to code?
No coding, scripting, or technical background required. If you can browse a website, you can use Report Flow. The recorder captures your clicks and keystrokes automatically — you just navigate the site as you normally would and Report Flow remembers every step.
Does it work with our SSO or government login?
Yes, for most SSO and government portal setups. Report Flow launches a dedicated Chromium-based browser and replays your recorded login steps — including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) flows. SSO sessions can stay active between scheduled runs, so re-authentication is not needed every time. Note: logins that require a new MFA code or push-notification approval on every run are not supported for unattended scheduled execution.
Where do my downloaded files go?
Files are saved directly to your local Windows machine — by default your Downloads folder, or any folder you specify when setting up the workflow. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud. Your report files, browser sessions, and any data from the websites you automate never leave your computer.
Is my data sent to the cloud?
Your report files never touch the cloud. The only things stored in Report Flow’s database are your account credentials (encrypted), workflow definitions (the steps to replay), and run logs. The actual browser activity and downloaded files happen entirely on your local machine.
What websites does it work with?
Report Flow works with any website you can open in Chrome or Edge — internal government portals, vendor report systems, public data sites, and anything else. There are no integrations to configure, no API required, and no list of “supported apps.” If a human can navigate to it in a browser, Report Flow can automate it.
What happens if a workflow fails?
Every run is logged with a full step-by-step record. If a step fails, the log shows exactly which step and why — a missing element, a login timeout, a page that loaded differently, and so on. You can review the log in the View Logs tab and re-run the workflow manually to verify the fix before the next scheduled run.
What if the website I automate changes its layout?
If a website updates its design or moves elements around, a workflow may need to be updated. You can edit individual steps directly without re-recording the entire workflow, or re-record just the affected portion. Most updates take less than two minutes.
How does scheduling work exactly?
The Report Flow Agent is a lightweight background process that installs on your Windows machine. It wakes up every minute, checks whether any scheduled workflow is due, and runs it automatically — even if no browser window is open and even if you’re not at your desk. You start, stop, and monitor the agent from the web interface. Scheduling is available on the Solo, Team, and Department plans.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. The Team plan ($99/mo) supports up to 5 user seats and the Department plan ($199/mo) supports up to 25. Each user can create and run their own workflows, and admins can manage user accounts from the Manage Users page.
Does it work on a Mac?
Not yet — Mac support is coming soon. The current version of the Report Flow Agent runs on Windows only. Mac support is on the roadmap and will be announced when available.
Can I try it before paying?
Absolutely. The Free plan lets you create up to 2 workflows and run them manually — no time limit, no credit card required. Upgrade to Solo ($49/mo) or Team ($99/mo) whenever you’re ready for scheduled, hands-free automation.
